German Students Visit Delmarva

Upper School students said "Auf Wiedersehen" to their German exchange students as they left TSS to fly home after a two week visit to Delmarva. Every other year, a group of German students stay with host families at TSS giving them an opportunity to experience life in the USA while visiting local sights such as Assateague Island and Ocean City, as well as traveling further to Washington DC and Williamsburg. Next summer, students from TSS will do the reverse by traveling to Germany to stay with their new German friends, going to school with them, and visiting famous sights such as Neuschwanstein Castle (the inspiration for Cinderella's castle). One of the many ways TSS introduces our students to the world beyond Delmarva and encourages them to become global citizens.
