Coding Robots Teaches Many Skills

The 7th and 8th grade computer science classes have been learning to code Sphero robots to navigate through a maze. Students first created their mazes to meet certain requirements, such as angles and dimensions, and then taped them out on the floor. The students then wrote the code so the robot could automatically navigate through the entire maze. What a great way to practice a variety of skills and knowledge from coding to angles and to learn the effect of changing track lengths, robot speeds, and timing to stay inside the maze walls. Great job, everyone!
