We are so excited to share with you the 50th Anniversary Legacy Campaign. This important effort is designed to grow an endowment fund that will provide income to the school in perpetuity, ensuring a sustainable financial base that will take the school into the next 50 years and beyond.
HISTORY
Past school leaders laid the foundation for endowment years ago. At the school’s 25th anniversary, leaders began the important work of creating an endowment fund for the school. Now, at the 50-year mark, responsibility of building that fund has been passed to us.
PURPOSE
Endowment income will be used to further educational excellence at TSS as we:
- innovate and grow academic programs;
- enrich the arts and athletic offerings;
- enhance our beautiful campus;
- ensure that the school can face the challenges of the future on a firm financial footing
PROGRESS
The campaign is well on its way to its near-term goal of $3 million, thanks in part to a tremendously generous $1 million leadership gift from the Myers family. Kevin Myers serves on the school’s board of trustees and on the foundation board. He has four children currently attending TSS and two proud alumni.
We have also been blessed with a matching gift challenge of $500,000 that, when completed, will put the fund nearer to the long-term goal of $5 million in assets and estate gift commitments. This matching challenge will give everyone in our school family the opportunity to be a part of this important effort.
