Annual Fund

The funds raised in the annual campaign are used during the current fiscal year. Annual fund gifts support all school operations including professional development for faculty, research to enrich the curriculum, field trips, seminars and guest speakers, technology, library acquisitions, and much more.

The Salisbury School’s Annual Giving year begins July 1 each year and ends the following June 30.

Unrestricted giving is of particular importance to The Salisbury School. These gifts, which are used to fund the school’s highest priorities, give the school the flexibility to direct resources where they are most needed and enable us to stay competitive with our peer institutions.

Restricted gifts are donations designated to a specific program or project at The Salisbury School. If you have a special interest in an organization, department or fund at the school, you may designate that your donation and gift will support that entity.

If your company has a matching gift program, you could double or triple your gifts to the Annual Fund. Many companies will match donations made by employees, retirees, and spouses. Check with your human resources department to see if your company has a matching gift program. If your gift is matched, you will be recognized for the full value of your gift combined with the company match.

If you or your spouse works for a matching gift company, you could double or triple your gifts to the Annual Fund. Many companies will match donations made by employees, retirees and spouses. Check to see if your company has a matching gift program by looking online at our Matching Gifts site or by contacting your company’s Human Resources department.

Absolutely! If a donor gives $500 to the Annual Fund and his/her company matches that gift with another $500, the donor is recognized for the full $1,000 donation. Please note that for IRS purposes, donors may only deduct their personal contributions.
