Welcome to The Salisbury School Educational Foundation (TSSEF).  We are currently raising funds for the 50th Anniversary Legacy Campaign.  Learn more and join the effort HERE.
Almost 50 years ago, thoughtful and committed founders envisioned a school that was unique in its focus on child-centered experiential learning.  Almost five decades later, The Salisbury School continues to thrive as a model for 21st century education and a resource for the entire region.
The Salisbury School Educational Foundation is focused on the next 50 years – the next 100 years – and beyond.  Our vision is that the school remain a community asset in perpetuity – financially sound and continuing its exceptional tradition of educational excellence and innovation.
In taking the long view, the foundation raises funds to provide a long-term sustainable financial base for The Salisbury School’s current and future needs, as well as ensures that alumni, past trustees, families and friends remain a dynamic part of the school community through meaningful opportunities to engage with one another and with current students.
The foundation provides a means for those who share our pride in TSS to share in the responsibility of securing its future through:

List of 4 items.

  • Endowment Giving

A gift to the endowment fund is a gift that lasts forever.  Endowment gifts are not spent but are invested and the school benefits from a regular distribution of the return.
  • Major and Restricted Giving

From time to time, TSS family members choose to support a particular need or project.  The foundation is happy to help make that a reality.
  • Planned Giving

The foundation’s Evergreen Society celebrates those who have remembered TSS in their estate plan.
  • Restricted Funds

The foundation currently administers three restricted funds:
    • The James and Kristine Landi Scholarship Fund supports academic excellence and access through its funding of the school’s Merit Scholarship Program.
    • The Booth Grier Project Fund was established in memory of past board chairman and passionate TSS supporter and parent Booth Grier.
    • The Traci Himes-Parker Fund for the Performing Arts honors the memory of early TSS student and alumni parent Traci Himes-Parker and her passion for the arts as a pillar of whole child education.
